Thank you!Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You saved my sanity. I was convinced that UFT was messing up my favorite program and life as I knew it was gone forever. I was using WP2000 Office, nowWP7 is on mynice new, big, powerful computer and and everything prints as it should. I'm a happy camper, all thanks to you. You’ve made this little old GA lady very happy. Thanks a million.
My thoughts on UFT. The program as it is will satisfy my needs for a long time, I think.I was along time Roots III user,I could fly through those old individual screen, was able to work all the little tricks we developed to work around RT3’s short coming, could even send my reports to WP4.1 and formate them nicely, thank you.. I switched to Uft about a year ago, didn’t want to, cause my learning curve is very bad. But I got through it and now I love UFT. The ability to document everything is great , the screen is nicer and the printed reports look better, etc. I have a copy of Legacy, don’t like the looks of the screen, nor the way the reports print. TMG is on order and I will give it a look see when it arrives but I think UFT is still going to be my choice, especially now that it is working right. And I don’t want to learn another program...
Questions: Are the bugs that remain in UFT 3.1 so bad that we will need technical support after next year?If we don't change ourWindows program will we be able to continue UFT successfully andindefinitely? What is missing in UFT 3.1 that would make it better? Nothing is prefect, we all know how to use UFT as it stands,so what’s all the fuss about? Maybe instead of fussing and throwing up our hands in disgust with Matel, or Gen.com, or Learning Who Ever we should all get back to researching which is why we use computer programs like UFT in the first place.
My, my I do care on. Thanks again for the help. So nice to know there are folks like you out there helping those of us who know just enough about computers to get in real trouble sometime.
