Hi Wayne, I imported these some time ago (1st available in the 2.9 version from memory) and sounds like they have changed a little - mine were all E! (with space).
Don't believe you have a corruption - the reason for the E! is to define their origin (the excellent Mills Evidence! book) and to differentiate some of them from the original UFT templates for the same source (eg Book, Edited) - although these were Mills based, the E! ones are subtly different - compare some and you'll see
