I have not idea of what is happening here; but, as always, whenever there is a problem with UFT you can try the two "problem solvers." First option: ? Fixme.bat – This feature was one of the last things added into the program and, as Melissa once stated, “one of the best additions to the program.” This will restore UFTree database configurations without hurting any of the data. [With UFTree program closed, simply go to Windows Explorer, locate your UFT folder and double click on FIXME.BAT.]
Second option: Check/Repair Routine - The Check feature tests the files in a UFTree Project and Library. Inconsistent links are repaired, if possible, and unlinked events removed (for example, birth events remaining after an individual has been deleted). There is an option to rebuild footnotes as well.
It is recommended to do a Utilities/Project/Check-Repair once a month depending, of course, on how often you do data entry. If you spend lots of time entering data, perhaps once a week is a good idea. ALWAYS make a backup before running these routines.
