Keith, I sounds like you may be a new user who may have found a "deal" on AOL or some store shelf. You should be aware before starting to enter 15 years of records that UFT is a program that will not go thru the door of the future. The owner has cut off futher development and fixing of present bugs. Also company support is about to be also cut-off some time in 2001. But this support has been lacking for time now so this may not make any difference. The only support will be the users. Also be aware that there are upgrades for 2.x and 3.x versions of UFT if you have 2.0 or 3.0.
The owner of The Master Genealogist, TMG, has made a half price offer to UFT users. This offer expires on the 31st of Dec 2000. Read more about it at http://www.whollyGenes.com/http://www.whollyGenes.com/ There is a new version, 5.0, due out in the near future not never like UFT.
Both programs have a good learning curve so why spend time learning UFT then repeat with TMG.
