Are you using the option for WP 7? These are the instructions:
Four configuration switches are available to help solve problems which may occur within the program. All four are configured in the PD.INI located in the main Ultimate Family Tree directory(default C:UFT).To edit the PD.INI file, use a text editor such as NotePad.Do not use a program which will not save the file as a basic text file (a word processor, for example). The switches are outlined as follows:
The overall location for these switches, known as a Section, is [Settings] as shown above. If the [Settings] section is not present in your PD.INI, you must first add it. Each item within the Section must then have the format of Key=Value. In the above example, 'NoLogo' is a Key and '1' is a Value.
úNoLogo - This setting is used to control the display of bitmaps (pictures, screens, etc.) within Ultimate Family Tree. Setting this key's value to 1 will bypass display of all bitmaps within the program, including the initial startup screen (Splash Screen). Use this option if you are experiencing problems with immediate GPF's upon starting the program, or if Tech Support has determined with you that you are having a possible video driver conflict. The default for this key is 0 (zero).
úFontStyle - This setting controls the tiling and placement of bitmaps within Ultimate Family Tree. Setting this key's value to 0 (zero) will tell UFT to automatically try to determine if your machine is in Large or Small fonts mode. Setting this key's value to 1 will cause UFT to automatically use Small Fonts for determining bitmap settings. Setting this key's value to 2 will cause UFT to use Large Fonts for determining bitmap settings. The default for this is 0 (zero).
úWPWin7 - This setting is used if UFT does not determine automatically that you have WordPerfect version 7 when generating RTF reports. Setting the key's value to 1 forces UFT to use version 7 RTF codes and DDE language. The default for this key is 0 (zero), which causes UFT to automatically choose between WordPerfect 6 or 7 support.
úWPNoLine - This setting is used if you are experiencing problems with the line drawing characters with WordPerfect. Ultimate Family Tree uses the WP BoxDrawing font to draw the connecting lines between individuals in the Indented Descendant and Family Tree reports. If you use WordPerfect and do not have the WP BoxDrawing font installed, setting this key's value to 1 forces UFT to use a standard font instead. The default for this is 0 (zero).
úNoSlash - This options strips the forward slash characters from the Source Component fields. In most cases, you would not want the slash characters stripped from the component lines. The default for this is 0 (zero).
Pay particular attention to the blank lines in between Sections and the general formatting of the file as a whole; this format must remain intact in order for the file to be a valid INI file for use by any Windows program.
