I'm trying to help out an elderly friend who has spent years in an antiquated DOS PC putting together a family history. She has finally upgraded her computer but doesn't want to take a big leap in changing her program. She'd like to go from the DOS version of Roots to the FIRST Windows version Roots after the DOS version, which I believe is still before UFT. I'd imagine that would be the most seamless transition so she doesn't have to go fix her database and wouldn't have to learn a very difficult program, like TMG or the like. Can anyone tell me what is the first Roots Windows version and where I can get a copy of it? The stuff I read on UFT, also talks about having to "convert" and then clean things up, and we're trying to avoid that. Thanks.
