I agree, John, and still use UFT as my main program but I've edited much of my data so that it can be easily transfered to TMG and Legacy. I like aspects of each of them and keep both fairly up to date.
I never used many of the bells and whistles that some of the "power" users found convenient and consequently didn't run up against many of the "bugs." UFT still IMHO has the best web page writer and journal writer I've seen. Only defect in the journal writer is that you can't hide living data. Not being a programmer I guess I can't appreciate the reasons that the authors (I know there were several different ones) couldn't adopt code from the web writer.
My main concern is that one day the newest and greatest operating system may no longer support the database engine or sub routines. Until that happens or a better development program comes along my website will be by UFThttp://people.ne.mediaone.net/pwbarton/bartonhttp://people.ne.mediaone.net/pwbarton/barton
Too bad there is no support other than this forum or the email list. Lightweight users like me are not much help with problem solving and most of the knowledgable folks seem to have converted to a new set of problems.
