Working with UFT 2.9 and Win 98 on a client's computer so not sure this will help you or not. When starting the program, she sometimes gets an error message that is the WHITE screen of death about foxprow, an error has occurred......
She can click on ignore and it goes in just fine but gives her major concerns about her data (since it says all data will be lost since your last save....not a biggie since it happens going INTO the program.
CONFIG.FPW A new setting has been added to CONFIG.FPW to control off-screen bitmaps for use with Windows Terminal Server applications:
When Visual FoxPro writes anything to the screen, it writes first to an off-screen bitmap, and then performs a bit block transfer (bitblt) to the screen. This results in smoother screen painting.
Software that allows remote access to a Visual FoxPro session (for example, Windows Terminal Server) can detect screen changes, mouse moves, and keyboard events. When one of these event occurs, the software broadcasts it over the network. When Visual FoxPro performs a bitblt operation, the entire region is detected as changed, and thus the entire region is sent over the wire to the remote machine.
If you have the line "BITMAP=OFF" in your CONFIG.FPW, then the off-screen bitmaps are not used. However, the performance of Visual FoxPro 6.0 SP4 applications under Windows Terminal Server without off-screen bitmaps is significantly faster, depending on your screen size, net speed, and so on.
Note: It is recommended that you do not use this setting for normal Visual FoxPro applications or COM servers.

Be sure to use NOTEPAD to add this little line (BITMAP=OFF) to the config.fpw file. (Do not use a word processing program--not even WordPad--it will add other stuff to the file, which you won't be able to see, but will be there and will cause this file to not work.)Just put it at the beginning of the file on a new line.Be careful to not change anything else.Hope this does the trick for you; it seems to have on this computer.
