Go to File > Save As > Use the menue pull down to see the types of files to save. Click on BackUp > this will show your folders and a field to name the file. Find the folder and name the file. (Many of us keep more than one backup so use a date format to name the file. Mine is S011229a.sqz. S for the name of the project, the year, the month, the day and a letter for the backup of the day.) BTW when you name the file be sure to delete the * that comes up in the field. You can't save the file if it is there.
When the next screen comes up check all the boxes and OK. You will get a warning about taking so long to backup, It is a warning that we could never get removed.
When you want to restore go to File > Open > click of file types and set it to Backup and tell the program where to find the .sqz file.
Use your HD for backups then move to CD. Floppies are a mess to use. A Zip disk is ok.
