Windows 2K and UFT2.7 Lost Projects Files
I believe that I am in a very big mess. I had UFT2.8 installed on Windows 98SE machine. I did a Windows Explorer backup of the UFT primary folder and all sub-floders to CD-R. No -- I did not use the UFT backup process. I have now installed Windows 2000 in a clean install (replaced the Windows 98SE disk with a new/larger disk). I copied the UFT folder and all sub-folders to the new Windows 2000 disk. I reloaded UFT2.7 from CD and installed the patch to fix the divide by zero error as found on this message board. It is PATCH26 that updates the file FOXW2600.ESL. I then start UFT2.7 and get the following message:
Files(s) failed to self-register:
c:winntsystemDao2516.dll; c:winntsystemDbgrid16.ocx; c:winntsystemImocx.ocx; c:winntsystemSylvma16.ocx
UFT will start and I try to open up the Kennedy sample Program, but nothing happens. I try to open my Project and nothing happens.
Have I just lost everything???
