Ruth, I think your postings are very helpful.
Sadly, I'm one of those that began using UFT v2.9 before I learned of its abandonment.I do get the foxpro error message at start-up, but have learned to "ignore" it and proceed.
However, I am concerned about continuing with UFT.Recently I acquired RootsMagic, but I'm not nearly as pleased with it as with UFT.For one example, much of my data does not import to RootsMagic.Incidentally, the kind folks there have offered to take it back.
Just yesterday, I saw a copy of UFT Premier offered on e-Bay. I thought if it was a later version of my UFT v2.9, I would buy it and upgrade thinking it would eliminate the start-up problem.Having read today some of the postings here, I now know it isn't what I want.
Do you think it unwise to continue indefinitely with UFT or should I start over with ... TMG???

I have about 300 records in my database.
