Hi all, After years of sometimes perplexing family research, my current issue is the one I find most disturbing. Currently have FTM 2005 installed - yes, I have upgraded to 2012 (and also have an unopened 2009 version), but I detest the latest version, despite perseverance. My (new) computer is Windows 7 64 bit - unable to generate reports for FTM 2005. I have installed a virtual XP, sitting on same desktop, but this cannot be connected to a printer, thus defeating the purpose.I am happy to continue with 2005, BUT need to save one of the FTM family files to CD. It's happily sitting on desktop, ready to go (as FTM-FBK) but appears unable to be transported to disc. I am foundering for an answer. Creating a GEDCOM terrifies me (if indeed this would provide a solution)..... Am even having difficulties with the imgBurn program used for data recording (not that I was really accomplished with Nero). By now, you will all have realised I'm less than proficient with computer useage. Nevertheless, if anyone can assist I would be eternally grateful, and of course would be more than happy to reimburse financially.
