I agree with Angela and Aaron. Many documents were lost at NARA for a number of reasons. Many records never even arrived at NARA. If veterans have lists of names on orders, transfers, etc. they SHOULD send copies to NARA for insertion into the files of the people listed on those documents. Angela did not suggest that documents be sent to anyone else.
Personally, I don't know was Bruce is talking about but if Bruce thinks that The War Library is an enemy of the state he should contact the FBI and ask them why The War Library has been allowed to exist for 22 years. As I recall reading from a 1988 NY Times article, The War Library was the first military veteran registry before the internet when everyone communicated via 300 baud modems.
This forum is for spreading information. Not misinformation. It is a good and needed Forum. Let's keep personal animosities out. All of the postings I have read from Angela have been helpful and constructive. I hope she continues to post helpful info that she finds in other locations.
