Everyone who gets out of the military is given a Form DD214. It will state where you were in Vietnam. If a member of the military was in Vietnam they don't have to prove if agent orange was used. Simply being in Vietnam is enough. If you have diabetese and several forms of cancer that the VA admits they cause was agent orange. No one gets out of the military without some kind of papers such as a DD214. During the Vietnam they would be issued a DD214 when released from active duty. If the form is lost you can apply for another.
