Mr. Johnson, In reply to your recent statement that, in regard to your membership in General Society of the War of 1812, "After seven years as serving as the Vice President General for Publications, I will become the Historian General next month.": I, myself, find it interesting that you have not been reprimanded by your 1812 historical organization, for your having made public insults to a fellow researcher, and especially for threatening to use your influence in regard to your official position with that organization, against a fellow researcher. It seems to me that your doing such would violate nearly every ethics bylaw of any organization, and especially an organization involving the soldiers of 1812 who fought for these very freedoms. But perhaps no other members of your organization subscribe to this list though, and so your group is perhaps unaware of your vicious public remarks and threats (which were indeed very unbecoming for any individual, let alone someone in your position with your org.). If perhaps, however, your org. does look into the matter, be sure to also supply them with all of the emails which I sent to you privately a few weeks ago, so that they can see if there is anything in them which would have later caused you to "blow a fuse" in such a bizarre manner with your public insults and threats to me, at this msg-board.
