There is nothing about registration for the draft that implies military service. In WWI only 4 million men were taken in while tens of millions of men registered for the draft. The September 1918 registratuion included men up to 45 years of age. All the men drafted were between the ages of 21 and 31. You don't have to do any research to figure this out. All you have to know is the date the war ended. November 11, 1918 It's not likely that even one man who registered in September 1918 was ever taken into the army. I had a relative who was inducted into the army in September 1918. He was discharged in December 1918. He wasn't in long enough to wash all his uniforms. Your guy either died or ran away with the circus. It wasn't hard to lose yourself in the US at that time.
