Here are listed
Quote
Niels Bless Øhlenschlæger, born 3rd October 1885 in Tolstrup, Herslev
died about 30 year old in the U.S.
N.B.Ø. participated in the First World War as an American soldier.
Here is my problem, where does the information come from?
-------------------------------------------------------
In 1904, Niels Bless Øhlenschlæger specified in a Manifesto
New York Passengers Lists, 1820-1957
Name: Niels Bless Ohlenschlagen
Arrival Date: March 5, 1904 Poert of New York City
Age 18, male
Estimated birth year: abt 1886
Port of Departure: Liverpool, England
Ethnicity / Nationality: Scandinavian
Ship: Lucania
Last residence: Copenhagen
Final destination: Rochelle, Illinois
Joining a friend: Kirsten Jensen in Rochelle, Ill,
if you go onto that list, hes name is crossed off, that means he never were aboard the ship and did not come to America in 1904,
he is not in the census from 1910.
So where is Niels Bless Øhlenschlæger, did he stay in Denmark or did he stay in Liverpool, England and it was as an English soldier and not american soldier he took part in WWI? and where and when he died?
