Can you give me some information re dates from Henry Whitings memories as to when his cousin cycled over to see him?
'I had a surprise a few days later, my cousin had heard that my battery (100th Siege Battery RGA) was in Armentieres and had come to see me. He told me his battery, the 91st Siege, were only four miles away, so I cycled to see him. When I arrived they told me they were on the move, but did not know where, but I found out afterwards it was to Narlly Harlette (sic).
Narlly Harlette (sic) I think this may be MAILLIE MAILLET as the 91st arrived there in October.
1916October 18 –– MAILLY MAILLET - 91st Siege Battery arrived at Mailly Maillet at 7 p.m. [91ST War battery Siege Battery diary]
Finally has Harry Whiting's memories ever been published?
