On the day of Pearl Harbor, there were still 204 Marines present in China at the US Embassy and two consulates. They were captured and spent the war in various prison camps. There is now a web site devoted to information about them. www.northchinamarines.comSeveral family members were looking for information and found each other. One decided to put the web site together for any future researchers. It would also be of interest to anyone interested in military history. Several of the Marines who are still living have contributed pictures and stories. Still under construction and being added to every week.
