Yeah Louie, it depends on who you talk to and whose figures you use. I have heard up to 81,000 casualties. Of that number 19,000+ killed and 23,500+ capured. Also here were around 1400 Brit casualties with 200 killed. Any way you add them up, it was not good.

The German forces got the worst of it with over 100,000 killed, captured or wounded. Of course that was getting to be the bottom of the German barrel so there were a few that were really too young and/or too old to be doing these sort of things.
