Hello Chris: Just saw your post regarding the 67th. I was in the 54th AFA Bn. of the 3rd AD from June,1941 through the end of the war in Europe. I am also a past president of the 3rd AD. Association and feel I am qualified to correct some erroneous info you have been given. The 67th landed in Normandy on June 23,1944. Our first action was at Villiers Fossard on June 29. We participated in 5 campaigns - Northern France was omitted from the llst given you. Our battlefield deaths were 2324;wounded -7451; MiA -706 for a total of 10,481. Vehicles lost(totally destroyed: 633 medium tanks; 147 light tanks; 17 Artillery pieces; 38 assault guns; 204 half tracks; 53 armored cars; 115 motorcycles; 88 21/2 ton trucks. 340 1/4 ton trucks; 197 all others. In addition, Division Maintenance Bn. repaired and returned to service 6324 vehicles of all types.
