Mickey and everyone...ready for some more government bureacracy b.s.?
Before I sent the 42 IDPF requests I called the office that handles the requests and spoke to the individual who signed the cover letter for the two IDPF's that I received two years ago.
I asked if I should send all 42 in the same envelope or separately. The good news is that multiple requests can be made in one envelope, but not 42, only four or five. Why? Because of the time required to fill the requests. In addition, I receive 100 free pages, ( 20 pages is approximately the length of one IDPF). My response was essentially, what difference does it make if I send 42 requests at one time or 42 individual requests. Either way, the same amount of time and paper are needed to fill the requests! I could also ask 41 other people to send in one request and I send in one. Would someone explain what I'm missing with this logic?
Also, not being related to an individual who was KIA should be no big deal with receiving IDPF's (unless someone requests more than five!).....discharge papers yes.
Thanks for letting me vent!
Norm
