I had anticipated an officers number in combination with an enlisted number, which would have pointed in a certain direction, however....
What you have here are two enlisted numbers. The one beginning with (3) would have been the earlier of the two.The one beginning with (4) came later.
Generally numbers beginning with 3 refer to an individual who was drafted. After they ran out of 3s they started using numbers beginning with 4, so we conclude that the 4 number is "late war".
The second number in sequence in both ASNs is 2.This refers to Corps Area 2 which was the states of NY and NJ.
So we have a person who resided in either NY or NJ and was drafted.
I will be able to run these through my process on Friday morning.
