Hey guys, its been awhile. Got an easy question for you, I received my grandfathers reward entitlement awhile back and it says he is entitled to a Bronze Star.
On his separation, it mentions nothing. Is it common for WWII vets to receive a Bronze Star retroactively? Just curious if I should try to follow up on why it was granted, unless there is some defacto order that says if you were in combat, then you get a bronze star.
