I may be wrong, but I think that you are barking up an empty tree.
The only thing that the Selective Service ever generated to my knowledge, was it's infamous letter:
"GREETINGS. You have been selected by your neighbors"...
Beyond that, if an old boy met the physical and mental criteria, it would have been the military who would have pressed on.
A couple of weeks after the Greeting, one went for a physical(Dallas, TX), if the doctor didn't see daylight, one was sworn in, followed by a couple of weeks in the inactive reserve, then onto a bus and away to a reception camp (Camp Wolters,Mineral Wells,TX), thence to a replacement training center,(Fort Sill,OK,31st Field Artillery Training Battalion.),followed by assignment to a unit (985th Field Artillery Battalion,Fifth Army,Italy).
Half a million of them gave their all in combat.
I will be interested in learning of any paper trail to this sequence of events as it relates to the Selective Service..
