I am sorry.I do not know anything about military lingo, nor much about rank either.I am sending for his military records soon.I took this line from an obituary.He died in the VA hospital in Reno in 1961, and was supposidly buried in Hawthorne, NV.Other than that, and the fact that he lived in CA during the 1930's, I know little else about him.I am trying to solve a family mystery by gathering as much info. as I can about my "long-lost" grandfather.Thanks for trying to decipher the string I posted. It is helpful to know what you shared, even though
