AUGUST 6, 1945
Aug. 6, 1945 - the date that brings out all the bleeding-heart-liberals, jap sympathizers, and revisionists. condemning our use of the A-Bomb.
They weren't at Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941 and witness 1100 sailors entombed on the Arizona.
They didn't march in the Bataan Death March in 1942 and see a buddy bayoneted because he couldn't keep up.
They weren't in a P.I. POW camp in 1943 and witness a buddy beheaded for the infraction of some rule.
They didn't stand on the burning deck of a ship hit by a Kamakazi in 1944 and see a ship mate burned to a crisp.
They weren't a Battling Bastard of Bastogne waiting in Germany in 1945to be shipped to the Pacific.
They are just trying to change history and they will not get the job done as long as there are any Pacific Veterans still alive. My only complaint about the A-Bomb is that they didn't have it two years sooner. It would have saved the lives of thousands of Infantry men and Marines who died the the sandy beaches of Pacific islands, and hundreds of Airmen who lie at the bottom of the Pacific or rot in some Pacific island jungle.
