The information I provided was all that was listed in
Shelby L.Stanton's "WW II Order of Battle" for 28th CA BN.
Perhaps I could be more productive in your behalf if I had access to his Separation Papers, which would provide more of
a trackable profile than you have submitted.
I am satisfied that if he stayed in service following the de-activation of the CA in early 1944, he would have gone into either a Field Artillery Battalion or into a AAA unit.
I was on the cadre at the Field Artillery Replacement Training Center, Fort Sill, OK, at that time, and we absorbed a slew of these men for re-training on our 155s.
