There are several things that need to be cleared up before you can move forward with your research.First of all you have to identify the aircraft. If their plane was actually "China Clipper" then records show that it was lost on 27JAN45. (as opposed to your note of 24JAN44) On the other hand several of the names you list are listed in ABMC with date of death of 26JAN46--that is not a typo--it reflects a date of loss of 25JAN45 (a year and a day earlier--which was standard proceedure)
If ALL the men are still MIA, then why is Walt Yearick not listed on the Wall of the Missing......or Siebert or Haley? (I believe Sgt. Yearick survived)
Lt. Gochnauer's first name is properly spelled TonEy.
