I wonder if some one could shed some light on a document, I have of my father's.
My Dad, Thomas Martin Sheridan was a veteran of WWII, he was in the 121st Infantry Regiment and met my Mom here in England during the war. He returned to the US 16th October 1945 and I know that he was back in England and married to mom on 8th December 1945. He died here in 1961. I have only recently in the last few months, started to research my American lineage and have made great progress in finding out about his time in the US Army during the war (from the wonderful Louie)and also have found out a great deal about the family. I have this document and wonder how he would be in the United States Coast Guard when I have his discharge papers from the Army. I will put the details below
