Did your relative die in WW II?

By Lee Mathis May 05, 2005 at 07:33:17

If your relative died during the war or later as a result of injuries received during the war, there is an organization for you. It is a legitimate non-profit and its name is American World War II Orphans Network (AWON). Annual dues are nominal (and tax-deductible). To date there are approx 1,300 orphans registered, but eligible children of deceased vets alone may number as high as 150,000.
However, AWON is open to both children and other relatives of servicemen who died during the war.

Please note that this is NOT a solicitation for money. I am just a member interested in spreading the word...

Drop me a note if you're curious.
