Thanks for the information!You've done well.My father-in-law's name was Alvaro F. Tijerina 38675056.He was a Rifleman 745.In Stalag IV-B he was prisoner number 294966.We have his Stalag dog tags.He weighed 86lbs when released.Funny thing, he always thought he fought in the Battle of the Bulge, but all data indicates it was the Huertgen Forest.He once wrote that he was captured "in a forest near Aachen".Unfortunately he passed on in 1972, and although he was never one to talk about his war experiences, we want to keep this part of his memory alive.Thanks again!
