That would be the 151st Field Artillery Battalion you seek.
It was one of four such battalions (125th,151st,175th,185th) making up a part of the 34th Infantry Division.
It's gun was a 105 mm howitzer/truck drawn, the same as the 125th,and 175th. The 185th featured the 155mm.
My references on individual battalions is rather scant, but here is what I have on your uncle's unit:
Activated 30 Jan 42 as 1st BN, 151st FA;
arrived North Ireland 30 Jan 42;
arvd. North Africa 10 Aug 43;
arvd. Italy 9 Sep 43;
arvd. Camp Patrick Henry, VA, 3 Nov 4n and deactivated.
Anzio, 1-22-44 / 5-24-44
Naples-Foggia, 9-23-43 / 1-21-44
North Apennines, 9-10-44 / 4-4-45
Po Valley, 4-5-45 / 4-8-45
Rome-Arno, 1-22-44 / 9-9-44
Southern France, 8-15-44 / 9-14-44
The BN was located at Iseo, Italy, when Japan surrendered, 15 Aug 45.
That's all. Hope it helps.
