where to look for records on my father, Clarence Switzer

By Robin Polley January 16, 2006 at 08:50:15

Where can I look to find records on my father who served in the army.He passed away in 1991 and whenever he would try to tell us what happened to him in the army over in England he would break down and cry.He was hurt very badly when a crane fell on him and 2 prisoners he was watching. He had to lay face to face with one who was dead until they could get equipment there to get it off them.He was a living miracle, because they told him he would never father any children, but he fathered 11, all living.I would like to know all that I can about what happened as well as to be able to write for his military records.Where do I write to?
