513th Bomb Squadron- WWII-article

By Robin Biddle June 16, 2006 at 07:32:13

I am trying to locate a news article posted in the Salt Lake Telegraph on the 513th entitled- 513th Bomb Squadron called "World's Hottest Fliers. It had a photo of the 513th group and was published abt 18 months after Pearl Harbor. The copy I have is only a partial one, torn and no date showing. My Uncle Leonard(Jeff)erson Gossard was a co-pilot known as "Pinky" and flew with J B Holst and Toomey's Flying Circus. If anyone knows who he was I would love to chat with you! I am needing advice/perhaps a lookup- to find the article. I don't have a clue where to start. If anyone needs a lookup in Ohio I would gladly return the favor. Thanks! Robin (Gossard) Biddle
