My late uncle, Lt John Kenneth Ballard, was with Co. I of the 507th PIR in Normandy. His aircraft was part of the 59th TCS, Chalk 68, Serial 25. He was wounded twice, once on 15 June and a second time in July (day unknown). The second wound was serious and he was evacuated to England and then to the States.
I'm looking for information on where his stick may have ended up the morning of 6 June. I am also looking for any information on his activities up to the time of his second wound.
