Information wanted

I am trying to locate information on Johnnie P. Dalton.He was on Peleliu, South Pacific, 81 Wildcat Division, 323 Infantry, in WWII with my brother, James J. Queen. Johnnie was stationed at an Aide Station, at the bottom of a hill when my brother was killed.I wrote to him during the time he was stationed with my brother. The last I heard from Johnnie he was going home to New Philadelphia, Ohio.I would love to know if he is still living for Genealogy information.
