My guess is that ?avour is Cavour: and Novara has indeed a street called Via Cavour. Though it is not Corso Cavour, it may have been downgraded from a grand corso to a Via in the course of time. Anyhow, Corso and Novara clearly indicate a sojourn in the Northern part of Italy, maybe the background of the picture will confirm this. The stamp may have been imprinted by the Italian photographer at N 15, Corso Cavour.... firstname.lastname@example.org is the library, you could ask them for information about this era.
