My father - in - law was also a member of the RCAF 433 Squadron (Porcupine), unfortunately he passed away in 1995
He did however have books
433 Squadron History Page 16 On the strategic front, 433 Squadron attacked Wesseling, Stuttgart, and Hamburg on the 19th, 26, and 29th of July respectively.At Wesseling, where the target was a synthetic oil plant, wishful-thinking Germans jammed the master bomber, planted decoy marked, and set off a smoke screen.It was all for naught; the Porkies were not deceived. Before departing they had made a smoke screen of their own from the smoke of burning ersazt oil which reached a level of two miles above ground.
