Well I do have a picture of him and my grandmother. He is in uniform at the time. What appears to be on the lower part of right sleeve is a triangle the baground of the triangle is white the inside has a half circle of what is some dark color and beams of the same color going out to the topmost point of the triangle. also on the right sleve is corpral marcks and at the topmost poket on the left side of his coat is what appears to me as wings. He was a navigator for his bomber crew and I have been told he has seen pyramids and such so maybe Egypt. He is wareing a standered issued garrison cap and the trim of the cap is lighter than the felt. I am assuming he is wearing a brown uniform or possibly a darck green one (photo is black and white). He and his brother were living in Tennessee at the time. He enlisted at Camp Forest, Tennessee. He really wanted to be a michanic but somehow got mixed up into a Navigator Scchool. He wanted to be transfered but they realized how good he was at Navigation so he stayed where he was at. He enlisted in 1942. Andhe enlisted for the duration of the War or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President or otherwise according to law.
