Alexander D. Fernandez

I'm looking for info about my grandfather, Alex Fernandez. He was born 1924 in Messana New York. He died in 2002 and is buried on the Onodaga Nation Cemetery in Syracuse N.Y.
Accoring to his obituary he was a member of the Marine Corp. during WWII and also a member of the Marine Raiders Association. Any help would be great!
