New Website
Greetings:
Not sure if this is the right place for this. But I have been working on a project for about a year, after finding dozens of WWII letters from my late uncle.
I will post the website, (in beta) but feel free to check it out. I have a blog too, though it is truly Beta. I have worked on the site since this late spring, finally getting it transferred to it's own domain.
I did not realize how much there was on the subject and it has opened up a new hobby for me. And I say that with reservations. My story of my uncle is not as much about the blood and guts of war, but of life during the war.
The site is probably not even half done, but it goes into over two years of the service my uncle did for his country.
I have innovative ideas for this site, and part of that innovation is input from readers. So with that I will just release the URL
www.lettersfromasoldier.com
P.S.I have scanned letters from the Aleutians, that I put up for the Alaskan State Library. If anyone is interested in reading any of these, send me an email and I will give you the present URL.
