"The Plain Dealer" Cleveland, OH. Friday, Sept. 13, 1991: Robert W. Woikey was the general foreman of the Main Post Office in Cleveland when he retired the first time. Then he worked for National City Bank for 10 years and retired again.
Mr. Woikey, 75, had leukemia for several years. He died Tuesday at his home in Broadview Heights. Mr. Woikey was born in Cleveland. He graduated from old Lincoln High School in 1936. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was treasurer and financial secretary of the Pinecrest No. 521 Building Condominium Association for 17 years and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Parma for 32 years. He was a past commander of American Legion Post No. 84 and a Mason.
Mr. Woikey is survived by his wife, Lila (Edit: nee CASSEL), son, Douglas of Fort Worth, Texas; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Busch funeral home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma.
