My father was in Co. L, 112th Infantry, 28th Division, and saw action from Jan. 10 through Jan. 29 when he was hospitalized in southern France for 90 days. His service record was destroyed in the 1973 fire in St. Louis, I believe. I would love the have more information about Co. L's combat and movements from Jan. 10 to Jan. 29. I know he was at the Colmar Pocket in the latter part of this time frame. Can anyone tell me where his company would have been before that and the hospital where he might have received treatment?
