I did, indeed, ask if they have a list of names. Where they got those names is a curiosity. Official sources like the RCAF say they don't have similar. Hummmmm. Haven't heard back from them yet. My most educated guess would be "Marty" left Winnipeg mid-May to early June 1943. I've learned from others that the trip back to England took some time. They were all sent by train to Halifax and then often had to await a convoy for the sea journey. Couldn't hop on a jumbo jet in those days.
