Assuming Janosko was assigned to a division (and we can sit around assuming 'til the cows come home), forty-two divisions - at one time or another between 16 December 1944 and 25 January 1945 - participated in the Battle of the Bulge. In the absence of separation papers or other reliable documents, the only way to ascertain his unit, etc., is to access official records. I can do this but it will incur expenses I'll have to pass along. A preliminary check has turned up three men named A. E. Janosko who would have been the right age to serve in World War II.
