In re your e-mail. The battalion was an element of V (Fifth) Army Corps, tactically attached to 29th Infantry Division when it landed at Normandy on D-Day (6 June 1944). There are indications Company B was attached to 116th Infantry. On 20 June, the battalion, still attached to the 29th, was operating in the vicinity of St. Lo. Campaign credits include Normandy Invasion, Normandy Campaign, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. For anything more specific I'll have to access operational records.
