Hi, I need some help understanding what some of the information on my grandpa's honerabledischarge paper means or maybe the dates and information will be meaningful to one of you. Can anyone help me? I would like to know exactly where he fought and how he was injured. Is there a way I can find out what activity his unit (I'm not real sure what his unit is since I don't understand the organizational charts of the Army.) was involved in or how he was injured? Does this information give any clues?

Grandpa died when I was a child back in 1979. He would not talk about the war and seemed to become uneasy if asked about it. I was very close to him as a child. I just recently viewed this discharge paper and became very curious about the information contained in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Tami
