Hello!Thank you for your reply.I know I don't have a lot to go on... I recently found an "interview" I conducted with my grandparents via the US Postal Service back when I was in high school.I asked them questions about WWII and they wrote me back the answers (and enclosed the questions with their replies). My grandmother, of course, told of her experience with black outs & rationing here in the states, while my grandfather explained he was in a QM unit. They put him in the QM graves registration, picking up dead bodies and burying them.
I also recently obtained a picture that was taken in 1980.It looks to be a reunion with the men and their wives. There is a sign they are holding which says: 46th QM G.R.S. Collecting Point
I'm not sure if this helps you at all, but let me know if you come up with anything. Also, I know my grandfather was a lifetime member of the VFW.Is there anything that I could find out through the VFW?
