And thanks for hanging in there until you reached me.
I seem to have hadmore than my share of problems with the system since I switched providers (from SWB to CHARTER), at the same time I switched computers (from H-P to GATEWAY).
I have lost track of how many new e-mail addresses I have had to generate in order to stay up with my friends in the WW II Forum.
I think that I can help you in your quest concerning the 350th IR, 88th ID, but I have had a pretty hetic day, and am about to go off to bed.
I will get with my references tomorrow, as time allows, and will get some word to you after that. OK ?
Meantime, I am looking at a graphic map which shows the line at the Battle for Cassino, dated 11 May 44.
It looks like the 88th ID was just to the east of Minturno, moving against the German XIV Panzer Corps, toward Maranola, thence to M. Grande.
If you like, I will have my 12 old grandson scan and forward this to you. I will need a separate address to do this. (Funny, I think that I could still handle a howitzer gun sight and sight and fire the piece, but I have never mastered the scanning procedure with the computer.)
